Resignation of Blaise Compaoré: Burkina Faso black spring.

In Africa it’s like what has happened in Burkina Faso rather the exception, a race rises against its rulers -. The opposition speaks according to the Arab spring already hopefully by a black spring. Apart from small riots there has been the rule that fits the resigned black population in the undemocratic States? So is also used to explain why in so many countries of the continent the President relatively undisturbed glue for decades in power. He was certainly not the worst of all long term rulers in Africa, the 63 is in illustrious company: just think of the old Robert Mugabe, leading Zimbabwe continuously since 1987 in the ruin. Or to the despot of Omar al-Bashir, who directs the Sudan since 1989 with an iron hand, even though an arrest warrant for genocide is against him for years. Youth unemployment and illiteracy are widespread and in the human development index 2013 ranked inland on place 181 of 187 total. Few benefit from the economic growth, highly praised in so many countries of the continent, which also appears in the statistics for Burkina Faso. Observers speak of a revolution in the poverty-stricken country. A commented in the short message service Twitter: In the Ukraine it took four months, until the revolt of ride came. In Egypt, it was three weeks. In Burkina Faso only three days. It remains to be seen whether this really spring is the beginning of a black man. . Afghanistan: Rula Ghani or multiculturalism as an antidote to violence.

Lebanese origin, Christian heritage, marked by may 68, his years in Paris and the United States, and critical of full face veils, the new first lady of Afghanistan Rula Ghani wishes to highlight its multiple identities to play an active role in a country plagued by 35 years of war, she says in an interview with AFP. There are two ways to react, she said, when there are multiple identities. One way is to choose a single identity and cling there and another is to embrace all identities, trying to take advantage of the contribution of each identity, she says quoting the Amin Maalouf classic murderous identities. I prefer the second alternative, because the first, in fact according to Amin Maalouf, it really go against other identities, which it becomes a possibility of violence against other identities, said the wife of Ashraf Ghani, ex-cadre of the World Bank who succeeded late September to Hamid Karzai at the head of the Afghanistan. To better highlight his remarks, this former student at Sciences Po Paris, expressed in a french perfect despite 30 years in the United States, says: I have a French identity, but it does not mean that I will use the french all the time. In May 1968 in Paris, she remembers being in the heart of the upheaval. An experience that it was marked even if it was not directly involved in the movement alongside his french comrades. I found it very refreshing to see people decide that there are some things they wanted and some things they did not want. Therefore to show a certain independence of spirit, she recalls. Speak as first lady, of foreign origin and Christian religion, is bold in this conservative country where women’s rights remains fragile despite the progress over the past decade. This is what she does in approving the French law which condemns the wearing of the full veil in public space, but allows the scarf which leaves the face uncovered. With regard to French policy against the niqab and the burqa that prevent the woman to move by being able to see, because the niqab, is somewhat as of the blinders, I am quite agree with the french government, she said. -’ More than + visibility +’- but it shade his remarks by adding that if ever the person wants to wear a headscarf, wants to wear long clothes, wants to cover to the ankles to wrists (.) . . ) it was certainly in this case a religious reason, but this is something with which people can live, is not at all offensive, this is not annoying. Her French upbringing, she kept thinking, very very Cartesian logic, she says. His brief stint in the office of the Agency France-Presse (AFP) in Beirut, in the early 1970s, it remembers to have learned the rigour, the speed, the accuracy. In Afghanistan, one of the most conservative Muslim countries, its Christian identity has been criticised during the election campaign of her husband. I think that this phase is completed, ensures stating that it will not go against the traditions of his adopted country. A 66-year-old Rula Ghani, nicknamed affectionately Bibi Gul by her husband, does not intend to even remain locked behind the walls of the Presidential Palace. She already broke a few taboos in campaigning alongside her husband earlier this year during the election campaign, declaring itself at least a speech before supporters. She hopes more visibility than Zeenat Karzai, wife of former president Hamir Karzaï, who has remained very discreet during the reign of her husband, to the power of the end of September 2001 Taliban fall. But a month after the inauguration of her husband, Ms. Ghani is still working to define the contours of his role. It is quite important to be first lady of a country. I find that it is a responsibility, she acknowledges. I am not even sure today of the role that I play, adds Ms. Ghani. But president Ghani, who visited him tribute in his inaugural speech, has already set the tone, says the first lady. It will be alongside the president, whatever happens, an active role. In doing so, it showed as a man he respects his wife and he appreciates his role, continued Ms. Ghani well aware that the right of women in Afghanistan should still be able to improve. I hope that after his five-year term, men in Afghanistan will be more inclined to recognize the role of their wives, their daughters, their sisters. . The myth of the Concorde.

The place of God in the Constitution has been one of the most sensitive issues of the debate which took place on the Constitutional Treaty of the European Union and it has influenced the process of ratification. Over the five decades that followed the ratification of the Treaty of Rome in 1957, European leaders tried to build a United Europe on a secular basis of treaties and economic regulations. However, they seem more suited to this task. Recently, efforts have been made to include another factor – the religion. In 2006, Chancellor Angela Merkel has argued in favour of a reference to God in the European Constitution; his point of view was challenged by France, secular country, but received a warm support from Catholic countries as the Spain, the Italy, the Ireland, the Slovakia and the Poland. December 17, 2007, the preamble the Treaty was modified as follows: inspired by cultural, religious and humanist European heritages, from which have developed the universal values of the inviolable and inalienable rights of the human person, freedom, democracy, equality and the rule of law. The debate on the Treaty of the EU occurs at a time of religious revival. It bears witness to a transformation of the liberal culture, a project of laïcisation ideological to another project, more respectful of the existential importance of religion. This transformation was facilitated by the liberal framework of modern democratic societies. A State based on rights encourages social harmony between believers and non-believers and the Treaty also as equal before the law. The proclamation of civil rights has made tolerance nor a problem specific to the States but a moral problem that guides the social relations between individuals with different beliefs. Harmony means harmony. It implies an ideal of peace which is deeper than the compromise. In Greek and Roman civilization, the domestic company was not supposed to follow the logic of relations between States in which peace has never been provided. In antiquity, the terrifying possibility of a civil war has often been invoked to justify exceptional policy measures, as was the case of the Romans, who appealed to the supreme good of the Concorde (salus rei publicae) to justify the establishment of the dictatorship. The civilizations of antiquity, the dialogue was the most appropriate way to the settlement of disputes between citizens. However, accepting using only the power of persuasion was assumed that peoples shared a compelling value, such as the love of the homeland. In extreme cases of struggles and divisions, apart from dialogue, other strategies to restore harmony, based on the oblivion of the reasons of discord, such as Amnesty and oblivion, were adopted. The Concorde was designed both to stop real seditious and doctrinal disagreements and to create peace between equal individuals against the faith. As a result, religious tolerance was accepted only as a second resort, as a temporary solution to restore harmony. However, the Concorde failed, and one of the main reasons for its failure was actually his ideal that dialogue should not only exceed the disagreement but overcome pluralism. Specialists who have studied the trajectory of the Concordia christiana after the Reformation have shown how religious harmony was unable to promote tolerance because of his conviction that the public dialogue between the representatives of opposing Christian denominations would help to overcome these divisions. This belief was based on two assumptions: firstly that the religion was the main feature of the identity of Europe and the Foundation of its political order, and secondly that the dissent within Christianity could not extend to the fundamentals of the faith (the dogma and the sacraments). The hypothesis of unit Christian roots was also fatal both to pluralism and tolerance because Christianity had become extremely hierarchical and dogmatic. Thus, while all Christians believed that the disagreement on religious questions would result in the worst possible disorders and the most serious enmities among men, none of them was ready to change his mind. The acceptance of diversity and pluralism was their main problem: it made them unable to fulfill the promise for the advancement of the spiritual unity of Europe. All Catholics as protestants, denounced the pluralism as a vice and rejected unit models that were based on religious pluralism, as the ottoman Empire or the Roman Empire of antiquity. Christian humanists were convinced that an open dialogue would help them to overcome the disagreement without needing to remove the public theological discussions Forum. However, as reflected by the study of the exemplary case of the Colloquium of Poissy (1560-1561), this hypothesis has specifically produced the opposite result: this radicalized religious disagreements and opened the door to the wars of religion. This contradiction poisoned the Symposium because stakeholders (from Calvinist and Catholic theologians) were not willing to admit openly that they believed more in the same foundations of faith. Thus, as soon as they attempted to discuss their beliefs, they found themselves caught in a knot of contradictions that made their more radical disagreements that before the Conference had begun. The Colloquy of Poissy illustrated a phenomenon sociologists have observed experimentally in recent years: the result of dialogue among groups whose members share specific beliefs is a tendency to radicalize the respective allegiances at the end of the discussion rather than to weaken them: it is the arguments persuasive content that causes polarization rather than comparisons between self and others. The result of the discussion, in this case, tends to strengthen the homogeneity within each group, compromising peace and sharpen divisions. Thus the Concorde failed miserably because all attempts that interlocutors did to convince each other were inevitably seen as proselytizing, perception that helped raise animosity rather than the agreement. In sum, the dialog mit to wrong the hypothesis that it was not necessary to remove the theological issues of the public forum to maintain dialogue and to live in peace. God make an object of public dialogue was fatal to peace and tolerance. Pluralism as a condition for tolerance that hearkens back to the question that I had addressed at the opening of this article: can we afford, in Europe today, to bring religion to the public sphere and ask him to play an active role in the development of the cultural identity of the EU. The history of the wars of religion proves that dialogue with the aim of cultural harmony tends to radicalize the disagreement and highlight the negative differences in social peace. This also proves that peace requires sometimes suspend interaction and turn to the field of legal norms and institutions of the Concorde. The failure of the christiana Concordia proves that when they abandoned the ambition to overcome their differences, Europeans learned to practice tolerance as an art of negotiation which accepted differences, as being legitimate. With the failure of the christiana Concordia, the ideal of harmony is moved from religion to politics. The civil laws have allowed that different people coexisted in the same geopolitical space unless it is instructed to modify their beliefs. In his Colloquium (Colloquium of the Seven about Secrets of the sublime) heptaplomeres (written between 1593 and 1596, published in 1857), Jean Bodin has included all the opinions in his statement for pluralism (Catholics, Calvinists, Lutherans, Muslims, Jews, proto-deistes, skeptical), and it is concluded that the friendship between political subjects can exist even if citizens have radically different ideas about important religious issues. Bodin made this statement after demonstrating that no religion is able to prove that it is true revealed religion and finally the pluralism is not a defect but a brake to the monopolistic temptation of religions. A regime of tolerance does not require all citizens to have an identical degree of virtue of tolerance, or that the attitude toward tolerance is the same for all. At the end of this reflection on the failure of Concordia christiana, we can conclude that tolerance is a non-perfectionist practice that teaches us how to live with substantial differences without having the ambition to cut trees. As a practical habit of respect for each individual, it educates to the recognition that in each of us there is something inviolable and inaccessible, comply, and that the interruption of the dialogue about what each of us considers a question of fundamental principles (on faith) is indispensable. Territorial reform: the Senate draws a map of 15 regions.

Once more, the Senate stood Government on reform. The upper House has redrawn Thursday a map of 15 metropolitan areas – when the Executive provides 13 – restoring the autonomy of Alsace, Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrénées. Senators did however not vote – by a vote – for the retention of a Nord/Pas-de-Calais region separated, going in the direction of the Government and the Assembly who want to see it merge with the Picardy region.  Disappointed by this result while their group was committed to support, senators PS du Nord/Pas-de-Calais left the meeting as a sign of discontent. Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, had argued for a map to 13 regions.  "We need clarity and (,.). map passed by the Assembly this merit ", had stressed the Prime Minister in a statement before the start of the consideration of the text. I leave you discuss. But 12 hexagonal regions, what a change!"he exclaimed. This figure taking into account mainland regions, off Corsica and overseas. Senators rejected an amendment tabled by elected UMP of Lorraine as Gérard Longuet, but by François Baroin also meeting (dawn), which aimed to restore a large region Alsace-Champagne Ardenne-Lorraine by 219 votes against 117. The vast majority of the right and the centre has voted against this amendment by Senators UMP, while on the other hand, most Socialists voted for. The senators were then repelled by 217 votes against 123 amendments wanting to restore the Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrénées merger laid down by the Assembly. "The addition of forces will promote harmonious territories and particularly economic development making up a fourth block of 6 million inhabitants, and the twelfth European GDP, based on the complementarity between Toulouse and Montpellier and the Mediterranean", argued Roland Courteau (Aude, PS). The debate in the Senate must still continue until Friday.  It has yet to decide on mergers of departments and on the conditions of the right of option, i.e. the possibility for a Department to leave a region to join another. The text voted by the Senate will then again be submitted to the National Assembly, which could return to its map of 13 regions. . Ast, Zanda (Pd) for Alfano: Serves accountability of those involved.

Rome, Oct. 30 (La Presse)-The Italy is going through a serious economic crisis that has produced a record and that unemployment will not end soon. Parliament, Government, business and unions must know that to beat the difficulties and bring back our country on the path of development, even before the laws and measures in Europe, it is necessary to ensure timely action and even obsessive that social peace is the essential premise of any economic maneuver. So the President of the Democratic Party in the Senate, Luigi Zanda, intervenes in the Hall of the Senate following the statement of the Minister Alfano. And continues: the Democratic Party is close to all the Italian workers. To those whose job is at risk, to those that have already lost and the younger ones that dont work they have ever had. Unemployment is the scourge more painful this time, is the risk they run the Terni steelworks workers yesterday in Rome defended the place. Their crisis, unfortunately also determined by an absurd European legislation is not the only of our country. The Pd-explains-also knows that democratic sentiment of law enforcement, men of the police, the carabinieri, the guardia di finanza is out of the question. We speak of men committed to the defence of legality in a risky job, mortified and often misunderstood. Workers who in recent years have seen sacrificed even some of their economic rights. Zadran then calls the Minister Alfano on a specific policy issue, the rules of engagement, operational directives, statements that democratic political power gives to whom he was sent to the streets to defend public order. Social peace and the rule of law, says the leader of the Democrats-defend themselves in committing the entire square professionalism in law enforcement have to contain peacefully, without the use of force, demonstrations, protests and even the intemperance of those men and women who demonstrate that this is the only tool that is their remained to defend the right to work andultimately, the daily bread of their children. In an advanced democracy as we want to be our, workers who shout for the workplace and men of law enforcement who defend the Republican legality cannot, must not, never reaching to the collision. For this responsibility on the part of everyone, but everyone involved. The police and the world of work-ends-are on the same face: the face of the defense of social peace and civil cohabitation rules under which never ever free protests must end up with violent incidents in which are involved the police. Sivens: “many young people expected that the left fighting the impunity of the security forces.

These custody with control DNA lead to internalize among young people the feeling that they are précriminalisés like what Sarkozy had wanted to implement. The left does, there on the sly, sneaky way and away from the mandate that had been given to him. It is an extremely paradoxical situation. While there should be a Government to listen to this great citizen movement of anger, protest, indignation and civil disobedience, we have a Government that responds by safe and repressive treatment and when the right decision is taken, it is late and therefore inaudible. Historically, we know that this autism can only manufacture of misunderstanding, radicalize the mistrust and feed a vicious circle which with time becomes more and more difficult to reverse. Here we are overwhelmed because it is unlikely that simple words were not immediately found. If at least there had been a word public immediate, so clear, saying that as a precaution, it suspends the author of shooting, that responsibilities will be established, the family is entitled to the truth without burdening provided police,. Instead, the power preferred expensive logic to the right in these situations: wait, delay, the lack of transparency. Result, this case contributes slightly more to widen the gap that our Government was precisely the duty to reduce. Divorce is widening between the left, protest, and the Government left. There has been other historical situations of gap between these two lefts. But here, the magnitude of the gap looks more and more at the grand canyon. Of course, the left in power does not it only responsibility of this growing distrust between citizens and elites. But we are witnessing a growing questioning of those who, instead of embodying the general interest, appear to substitute the sectional interests or logics court-also, prefer cynicism to ethics, the denial to the courage of the truth, the withdrawal to universalism. There is a structural blindness of those who are in charge to embody the general interest today with a political staff of increasingly schizophrenic rendered deaf and mute by its clan logics disconnected from reality. There is also a lack of courage, a lack of vision. I was a member of the François Holland campaign in charge of civil liberties and human rights. However, once in power, there are Governments which are not supported on the major forces of society, and they exist. There were beautiful declarations on the exemplary nature of the energy transition struggling to exist, on a mode of development to reinvent. However, it does the opposite: many have the feeling that a terrible breach of trust has been committed. Everything is back now. Of course, there’s a very tyrannical economic reality principle, but reason more to demonstrate political courage, take risks, yet possible condition to throw gateways with citizen anger that can still be heard, which avoid to throw into the arms of the populism that await at the corner of the wood. . Anxiety attack: here’s what it feels like in a crisis.

Psychology – For the millions of adults who suffer from anxiety disorders, panic attacks are perhaps the most widespread and most persistent symptom. Even if they are different for each of us, they are still terrifying. Interviewed for the Healthy Living of the Huffington Post pages American, Todd Farchione, a clinical psychologist at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University, explains: people with this type of disorder emerge absolutely exhausted. In part because they know that what they feel is irrational, but also because they have got accustomed to react this way in certain types of situations, and that it has become an automatism. It may be scary. When it happens, I am unable to get up, to pronounce the word. I feel more than intense pain throughout my body, as if one wanted to make me a little ball. If the crisis really is very acute, I can’t breathe, I’m hyperventilating and I am shooting vomiting. I have the impression on tightens me the throat. I have tingling in arms because I breathe too quickly and I am in lack of oxygen, which of course makes me freak out even more. . For extra data regarding this topic check website.
